The Transition School to Work (TSW) classes from Halls High School and Ripley High School recently visited the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC)’s Career and Technical Education Center in Smyrna, TN.
During their visit, students were able to visit classes and explore offered programs of study. TRC Smyrna provides exceptional students the experience of a traditional college, earning certifications and receiving hands-on career training while also learning about life skills. Areas of study include Food Services, Customer Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing/Production, Automotive Services, and Business Technology. Students who attend TRC Smyrna live on campus and participate in campus life and recreational activities similar to traditional colleges.
