LAUDERDALE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

As part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the Tennessee Department of Education implements a rigorous accountability system. As part of this accountability measure, Tennessee recognizes high performing schools to celebrate student success. These schools are known as Tennessee Reward Schools. Becoming a reward school is no easy feat! In fact, for the 2023-2024 school year, only 377 of Tennessee’s 1,700 schools were recognized as a reward school. Lauderdale County Schools is honored to announce that one of our own schools, Ripley Elementary School, has been designated by Tennessee as a reward school! This prestigious recognition is the result of the consistent hard work and dedication shown by the faculty, staff, and students at RES each and every school day.
