On Tuesday, October 30, students from the Ripley & Halls Youth AWARE Board attended the WestTeach event in Dyersburg, TN. Each individual told their personal stories about how the AWARE program has affected their lives. AWARE is a program focused on mental health and bullying issues among youth. The youth advisory board is appointed to help encourage their fellow peers to seek help if needed and to let them know that it is OKAY to not be OKAY and there are people who can help!
