The Tennessee Accelerating Literacy and Learning Corps (TN ALL Corps) program was created to address and correct learning loss in Literacy and Mathematics as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lauderdale County Schools received a grant from the Tennessee Department of Education to implement the program locally.
Since the 2021-2022 school year, the TN ALL Corps program in Lauderdale County has served approximately 200 students in Grades 1 - 8. Tutoring groups are limited to three students per educator in Grades 1-5 and four students per educator in Grades 6-8. This high dosage, low ratio tutoring has allowed educators to address the specific learning needs of students and support their continued learning. TN ALL Corps groups meet Monday through Thursday afternoons from 3:00PM - 4:00PM.
TN ALL Corps is just one of the before- and after-school programs available for struggling students in Lauderdale County. RES and HJH students can enroll in the 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) tutoring program while students at RPS, RMS, and HES can enroll in the LEAPs tutoring program. Each of these programs provide support to a slightly larger group of students in comparison to TN ALL Corps. These tutoring programs are also available to students in morning and afternoon sessions.
