On December 8, the Lauderdale County Board of Education discussed the school operating calendar and voted to keep the staggered, odd/even schedule through the month of January. The school board will weigh the decision again in mid-January to determine when schools should return to normal operating schedules with all in-person students present.

Enrollment changes for the 3rd 9 weeks for remote learning will occur December 7-11. Parents will need to contact their child's school if they wish to move from remote learning back to in-person learning or move from in-person learning to remote learning. If there will be no change in your child’s placement, you do not need to contact the school. For the second consecutive year, Ripley Middle School has been recognized by the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project as a Silver Level Model of Demonstration School for the 2020-2021 school year!
