LCS remembers Diane Bonds
If you have visited Lauderdale County Schools’ district office over the years, you were privileged to be met with Lady Diane’s warm spirit, award-winning smile, and beautiful soul. Ms. Diane made sure that all who entered our office felt right at home and, on occasion, received a much-needed uplift. With the changing of the seasons, Ms. Diane made sure the office was decorative and vibrant. If you stuck around the office long enough, you’d be able to hear her infectious laugh from the back hallway as she recounted stories of her children and grandchildren. You were truly blessed if you heard her angelic voice singing hymns while she milled about the office, leaving behind a wave of peace to calm any storm.
Ms. Diane Bonds began working for Lauderdale County Schools in 1977. A devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and colleague, Ms. Diane was a constant and stable light for her family and others. Her presence will truly be missed by many. Lady Di, we will continue to carry your light throughout the office.
