
First Grade students learned about the voyage to America on the Mayflower today. They were able to enjoy various snacks that represented the Pilgrims and life on the Mayflower.




HES students delivered over 1,000 items to the Lauderdale County Animal Shelter! Students collected items within a 48 hour period! Way to go HES!

After 9 long months, brothers Sam and Logan reunite! Welcome Home!


4th grade students created visual displays of an extreme mountainous setting and presented to their classmates. Students also completed a gallery walk to determine what Brian, in the novel Hatchet, is thinking, doing and feeling. Keep up the hard work 4th grade!


6th grade collected over 600 items to donate to Lauderdale County Humane Society!


Lauderdale Co. Schools will operate on a regular schedule today. Dress warm and stay safe!

November Lunch Menu


Reading Night at HES Library was so much fun! Families read to each other, students were able to take A.R. Tests, and enjoyed a balloon artist. Children were encouraged to dress up for the costume contest. Abigail and Chandler won the costume contest and received a gift card.
