On Saturday, January 27th, Lauderdale County School Board members along with school- and district leaders participated in a school board retreat.
Dr. Sharon Roberts led the team in a strategic planning session. During the session, leaders were asked to reflect and discuss several district aspects including academics, student support and safety, family and community engagement, teacher and leader quality and retention, and operations. Following reflections and discussions, the team identified areas that they felt were key strategic priorities to address as planning for the 2024-2025 school year begins. LCS is appreciative of Dr. Roberts for leading and challenging our team during this session.
