4th grade students did an egg drop experiment. Students tested gravity, inertia, and air resistance during this experiment. The students created a device or contraption to hold their egg. This device was built by students in hopes of their egg being unbroken from the fall. Students recorded predictions of what they thought would happen when they dropped their device with egg from the slide. After the experiment, students charted how many eggs were broken or unbroken. Students also wrote a summary of their experience during the egg drop.
