LCS has implemented a positive behavior support program known as ROAR. This initiative promotes Responsibility, Optimism, Accountability and Respect. More information is attached on ROAR including a weekly update sent to all schools. Check back each week for more info.

We are so proud of you, Jackie! Our very own, Jackie Tims was one of Tennessee’s top readers this past summer. She was one of 100 across the state that earned this honor. She attended the Kids State Dinner, complete with ice cream, balloons, and books of course! This dinner was hosted by Governor Bill Haslam, and First Lady, Crissy Haslam.

A community pep rally will be held on the court square in support of the Ripley Tigers on Thursday, August 16, at 6:00pm. Please come out and support your Tigers as they prepare for their road game at Jackson Southside on August 17 at 7:00pm. #TigerPride

Come out tonight to support your favorite Tigers in the Lauderdale County Tiger Bowl at Halls High School! Our cheerleaders, bands, and football players will all be performing. The National Anthem begins at 6:55pm. The full schedule is attached on our live feed.
Each classroom at RES is designing a garden stone to be placed in the school garden.
Don't forget to place your order for this year's READ 20 shirt....it can be worn every Monday. Order forms can be obtained through the front office, your student's teacher, or during Open House on August 16th. The deadline to place your order is August 24th.
National Night Out/Back to School Fest -- 6:00-8:30pm on Tuesday, August 7, at Ripley City Park. Free school supplies and food available. This event is sponsored by Ripley Police Department and the Lauderdale County Advisory Board.
