Procedures for a safe and successful School Year:
1. Arrival by bus or car begins at 7 am each morning.
2. Bus riders/Car Drivers must enter the front doors of RHS upon arrival to school
3. Car riders will be dropped off in the gym parking lot and enter the front doors of the
gym lobby.
4. Temperature will be taken each morning when entering their designated building. Any
temperature 100.4 or above will be sent directly to the school nurse and
parents/guardians will be notified and student will be sent home immediately.
5. All students are required to wear masks due to the Mandatory Mask Provision by the
Lauderdale County Mayor.
6. All students must be in compliance with the Lauderdale County School Dress Code.
7. All students will be required to wear their RHS ID badge while on this campus during
school hours. ID pictures will be made after the start of school and students should
receive their IDs by the end of the 3rd week of school.
8. The tardy bell will ring at 7:40 am. Any student arriving to school after the tardy bell will
be required to enter through the front door and sign in at the attendance office where
an excuse or a tardy will be issued.
9. Breakfast will be served in the homeroom classes between 7:40 am and 8:05 am.
10. It is mandatory that all students, teachers, and staff practice social distancing in the
halls, classrooms, restrooms, cafeteria, gym, and other designated areas.
11. In compliance with the CDC and the state of Tennessee, hand sanitizer will be available
in all classrooms for students, teachers, and staff. Teachers and staff will disinfect their classrooms, desks, doors, etc before, during, and after school.
After School:
1 . Car riders will be dismissed to the gym lobby at 3 pm each day. Pick up for car riders only
will begin at 3 pm daily in the gym parking lot.
2. 1st wave bus riders and students who drive will be dismissed at 3:05 pm each day. They will exit the building through the front doors and are expected to load their busses or walk directly to the location of their parked car and leave the campus.
3. 2nd and 3rd wave bus riders will be dismissed at 3:10 and will report to the cafeteria to wait for their bus. All students will be supervised and are expected to sit in a designated seat so that we can continue to practice social distancing.
