Ripley High School is please to announce Coach Kendall Dancy as our Boys Basketball Coach this coming year. A native of Haywood County, Kendall Dancy played basketball at Haywood High, East Tennessee State University, Virginia Intermont College and professionally in London, England. His first coaching assignment was as head coach at Haywood Junior High School, while also serving as an assistant at Haywood High School. Dancy’s first head coaching position at the high school level was in 2012 when he took the reins at Haywood High. During his tenure at Haywood, he led the Tomcats to its first and only state championship in the school’s history. After his departure from Haywood High in 2018, Dancy has spent the past three seasons coaching girls’ and boys’ basketball at Milan High School instilling in them his brand of toughness and fight on the basketball court.
Coach Dancy’s track record speaks for itself and we are extremely proud to have him join the Ripley Tiger family.
