ACT, Inc. informed the State of Tennessee that they have received credible evidence that there was a compromise in the testing process in another state related to the Oct. 2 test date. As a result, ACT, Inc. took the difficult but appropriate step of cancelling the Oct. 2 test administration to ensure the exam is fair and valid for all students in TN.
All school districts in Tennessee still have the opportunity to offer the Senior retake on an alternate testing date. Lauderdale County Schools will now administer this assessment on Tuesday, October 30 at both high schools in the county.
