Fall Title Meeting

RHS welcomed Alora Young, the Youth Poet Laureate of the Southern United States, to speak to the Jobs for Tennessee Graduates (JTG) students. Ms. Young is a 19 year old college student that shared her journey to becoming a published author while in high school. She also took the opportunity to inspire students to use their artistic talent without fear. Her book entitled "Walking Gentry Home" was released on August 2, 2022.

Today some of our seniors reported to the Little Theater for an interest meeting on a new health care program that will be offered at RHS. Interested students will be able to enroll in our program and upon completion of the program they will be certified as a Healthcare Technician. #GoTigers

Mrs. Melinda Hutcherson, Director of Special Education, along with her team, provided LCS staff with updated and detailed information on multiple supports with the Special Education department. Deanna Arivett, of Arivett Law, was the special guest speaker for the afternoon.
