LCS will remain on the odd/even day schedule through at least Fall break. This schedule has assisted in limiting the spread of COVID and has allowed schools to remain open. A decision about the schedule beyond Fall break will be announced by October 2.

8/27/2020 Press Release: Due to the impending threats of severe weather, travel implications, and safety for athletes and fans, Ripley High School and Fairview High School have agreed to CANCEL the football game which was to be held Friday, August 28, 2020.

RHS Choir teacher, Mrs Morris, and RHS alumni, Emmanuel got to participate in this virtual choir this summer. There are 17,572 singers in the choir from 129 different countries. https://youtu.be/InULYfJHKI0

If you chose remote learning for your student and you need to do the orientation via ZOOM you must email: dcarmack@mail.lced.net or ghoward@mail.lced.net to request the ZOOM meeting link. Please include the student’s name, the parent’s name and the grade in the email. Your request should be sent to either email address by 3:00 Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Congratulations to Mason for making alternate for the Nafme All National Modern Band! We have enjoyed hearing him play guitar through the years and watching him grow as a musician. We are very proud of his accomplishment! Mason is not only a talented on guitar but sings as well making All West Honor Choir multiple times along with being on the football team, baseball team, worship leader for The Stand band, and playing guitar for Professional Development! It’s hard to believe he is a senior already!
