As part of the celebration of World Kindness Day, students and staff wore their Kindness Shirts today!
AWARE sponsored KINDNESS week at Ripley High School. "How beautiful a day can be when Kindness touches it." Let's all spread kindness to all those around us.
Students and staff donated blood at the blood drive today during school. Donating blood helps to save lives of many people and we are happy to have this drive twice a year!

Braylon and Austin, two students enrolled in the TCAT Welding course offered at RHS, built a garbage can stand.
BIG thank you to our Seniors who served as wonderful tour guides for the 8th grade yesterday. Each not only served as a guide but also answered questions about all aspects of life at Ripley High School. So proud of each of them.
The 8th grade came to visit the CTE department in preparation of registering for high school. They were able to see demonstrations and hear about the criminal justice, agricultural, JROTC, health science, and machining/welding departments. Preparing for their future.

Don’t forget! There is a mandatory TN Promise TONIGHT - March 9, 2020. Meeting is at 5:30 pm in the gym at RHS. Students must attend to remain eligible for TNPromise.
Students simulated the spread of a virus by “sharing” the contents of their cup with several students. Students then tested their cup to see if they had been “infected” with the virus. Using reasoning and evidence students traced the “virus”to the first infected person.
