Over the past two weeks, RMS students have participated in MOVE2STAND, a STARS Nashville interactive training. During each grades MOVE2STAND program, students were challenged to examine their attitudes toward bullying. The program seeks to foster empathy among students and to help young leaders understand how bullying impacts school climate and communities. STARS will return later this school year for a follow up training with students to reinforce program practices.
We encourage all RMS students to accept the MOVE2STAND challenge and become a L.E.A.D.E.R. by:
Looking around and noticing
Empathizing, feeling, and listening with your heart
Acting on what you see and feel
Daring to be the change you want to see
Encouraging others to do the same
Remember you can make the difference
