Halls Jr. High School 8th grade students will travel to Halls High School to tour the CTE classes: DECA, Business, Carpentry, Ag Science, and Health Science Classes.
Both schools 8th grade students will finish the day with a final performance of the RHS Senior Play.
This day has been incorporated into our FOCUS curriculum to promote students taking ownership in planning for their next step in life, whether that be high school, college, or career. It is our belief that exposure to multiple paths help students find a passion or interest that will develop their plans for later in life. This time of year, high school counselors visit with the 8th grade students to register for upcoming freshman classes. What could be better than getting a glimpse into the classes offered to our students than actually seeing them first-hand on campus?
It’s never too early to plan for your future.
