This week, RMS students will participate in the anti-bullying program, Move2Stand. This assembly is designed to train students on making a positive impact on their school and community. Students will attend by grade level.

Cookie Dough orders are due this Thursday, September 6th! Students may turn orders in during homeroom or during Parent-Teacher Conference that evening. Please remember to follow all fundraiser guidelines to make sure orders are accurate!

7th grade class ring order deposits are due on Wednesday, August 29th. Orders will be collected in the morning.
6th grade Student Council applications are due tomorrow, August 23, by 3PM. They may be turned in to Mr. James Barbee or Mrs. Karie Arthur.
Class ring presentations for 7th graders will be on Thursday, August 23 at 7:30AM. This will take place in the cafeteria. Deposits are due Wednesday, August 29.
The Lauderdale County Community Pep Rally for Fall sports will be held on Thursday, August 30, from 6:30-7:30pm after the opening ceremony of the Lauderdale County Fair. Entrance to the Fair is free so come out and support your Halls and Ripley Tigers!

LCS has implemented a positive behavior support program known as ROAR. This initiative promotes Responsibility, Optimism, Accountability and Respect. More information is attached on ROAR including a weekly update sent to all schools. Check back each week for more info.
The Back-to-School dance is Friday, August 17th from 6:30-8:30. Admission is $5 and can be taken care of during lunch. Admission at the door increases to $10. Student registration fees ($20) must be paid in order to attend. Come and celebrate a great first few weeks of school!

A community pep rally will be held on the court square in support of the Ripley Tigers on Thursday, August 16, at 6:00pm. Please come out and support your Tigers as they prepare for their road game at Jackson Southside on August 17 at 7:00pm. #TigerPride
Come out tonight to support your favorite Tigers in the Lauderdale County Tiger Bowl at Halls High School! Our cheerleaders, bands, and football players will all be performing. The National Anthem begins at 6:55pm. The full schedule is attached on our live feed.
National Night Out/Back to School Fest -- 6:00-8:30pm on Tuesday, August 7, at Ripley City Park. Free school supplies and food available. This event is sponsored by Ripley Police Department and the Lauderdale County Advisory Board.
