Ripley Primary School celebrates Drug Free Week. Tuesday was Celebrate like a Rock Star and Sheriff Brian Kelley and Chief Deputy Garrison Taylor stopped by classes and posed with our Rock Stars.




Second graders in Miss April York's, Miss Shelly Ogden's and Miss Trina Smith's classes learned about how they could send their parents to the Ripley Fire Department and get two fire detectors for their houses if they did not already have some.

Lauderdale County's annual Veterans Day parade is just around the corner!

Melinda Hutcherson, Director of Special Education, attended the 2 day Arivett Law Education Legal Conference in East Tennessee. Presenters Deanna Arivett, Angel McCloud and Macey Woldt covered multiple education topics. Hutcherson is pictured with Arivett and McCloud.

Congratulations to Superintendent Shawn Kimble on being recognized as the 2023 Southwest Regional Superintendent of the Year! Thank you for your continued leadership on behalf of the students and staff of Lauderdale County.


Ms. Trina Smith’s Class entered the Fine Art Painting category at the Lauderdale County Fair 2022 and received First Place Ribbons for their paintings of The Colors of Autumn.
Their paintings were inspired by Wit & Wisdom Module 1 A Season of Change.


The Wells' Writing Initiative is a new writing challenge that Mr. Wells (our assistant principal) has started with our second graders. Our first winner was Ava who wrote a poem about school and Tina is our second winner who wrote about God.
