Had a great visit this week with TDOE Chief of Whole Child, Katie Houghtlin. Shared the many student supports in place in Lauderdale County and then spent time in a teacher PLC on restorative practices. Of course, the highlight was the time spent with our students. #LauderdaleLeads

One more day and we get to see our students again! We are looking forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday to start the 2nd half of our school year!


Early dismissal this Thursday...car riders will be dismissed starting at 11:00 with bus riders to follow. Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 8th. Have a safe and wonderful Christmas Break!

Here’s a little sunshine to start your day. “The lights are a bit excessive but it’s pretty cool.” These were the words of Whit as the lights were being added to our book tree this morning.


Ms. Johnston and Mrs. Crook’s classes performed skits to demonstrate their understanding of the book “Hatchet”


Mrs. Melissa’s and Mrs. Shelbi’s classes researched the history of the moon, the surface and conditions of the moon, and the relationship between the Earth and the moon.

The RES Step Team did a great job at the Christmas parade last night!


Due to the failure of a water line and the flooding of Ripley Middle School, there will be no school for students at Ripley Middle School on Friday, December 6, 2019. All other schools are in session and on regular schedule. All faculty and staff will report as usual.
