
RES staff are spreading Christmas cheer today!


Mrs. Melissa Lane’s and Mrs. Shelbi Cress’ classes ate like astronauts yesterday while studying space during a Wit & Wisdom lesson. The students tried freeze-dried ice cream like the astronauts eat in space. They loved it!!!

RES is proud to recognize 5th grader, Frederick B. Frederick was chosen to be an RES Leader. He greets staff and students each morning at the office!


Mrs. Pam Hastings arrives early each day to help 5th grade students with their math homework! We love our great staff at RES!

After reading the book “Moonshot,” 3rd grade students did an excellent job expressing the nervousness and then excitement involved in an astronaut’s journey to and on the moon.


Students in Mr. Buckner’s classes learned the characteristics of the inner and outer planets today.


Mrs. Julie & Mrs. Laura’s 4th grade students presented their visual displays today answering the question “What makes a mountainous environment extreme?”


Students in Mrs.Fino’s class were introduced to a new character today in “The Phantom Tollbooth” as they learn how authors use wordplay to develop settings and characters.


Students in Mrs. Fulton’s class were discussing how writers use wordplay to develop a story’s settings and characters with the text “The Phantom Tollbooth”
