Choir students from Ripley and Halls put on a great Men’s Choir concert tonight!



Great American Cleanup will be held May 11, 2019. The event will be from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. There will be a cookout for volunteers at the Ripley City Park at noon. This is a great opportunity to help our community and get service hours.


Ripley High School will hold a college and career fair Tuesday April 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Representatives from area colleges, local jobs, the State Education Department, and American Job Center will be present. Parents and students are invited.

Mr Blake McMeans spoke to our juniors and seniors about the consequences of drinking and driving. Very moving speaker, great interaction from the students!



There will be no after school football today, April 11, 2019.

On April 10 Lauderdahip Lauderdale put on a mock crash for RHS Juniors and Seniors. This is done every year to bring awareness to students of the dangers of driving under the influence or riding with someone under the influence.



April 16th current RHS Juniors will have a College Planning Night from 5:30-7:00 at Ripley High School. See the schedule for the night below.


Dyersburg State Community College visited RHS seniors that have applied to their institution. They discussed the next steps students would need to do before beginning classes at DSCC.


WestStar Leadership visited LCS for their annual education day. They seemed impressed with our students and the programs offered in our schools... early literacy, career-technical educ., performing arts, Project AWARE, and positive behavior supports to name a few. @WestStar20



Happy National Library Workers Day to Ms. Jo Crenshaw who is not only an amazing librarian but also willingly helps everyone in the school and sponsors the Beta Club. She is the best!!

Lauderdale County’s 4th Annual LaceUp for Literacy was a great success. Huge thank you to everyone that participated, donated, and volunteered!



RHS Students attended TASC State Convention this past weekend. Congratulations to Reagan on being elected the TASC President.

Congratulations to our 2019 Lauderdale County Teachers of the Year. Thank you to Bank of Ripley and members of the Lauderdale County Board of Education for honoring these teachers at last night board meeting.

Big thank you Ms. Madison Lewis greenhouse students who worked on the flower beds around the school and got them "Spring" ready. Looks wonderful.



Ripley High School students Jacob and Nitoria spoke to the 2019 WestStar group about their experiences in CTE programming. Both students currently have industry certification that they have earned in high school. Jacob plans to attend TCAT-Ripley on graduation and Nitoria will pursue a career in Early Childhood at DSCC.
