Clyde , Xavier , and Aaleigha (not pictured) were caught ROARing this week at RHS. All 3 students helped a teacher or other student without being asked. We love watching our students grow in responsibility.


Today Ripley High School Seniors made a commitment to earn the Work Ethic Certificate. This is recognized by businesses that have partnered with the program as a sign the students have the skills to help them be successful throughout their career field.


During National Custodian Appreciation Day, the AWARE Council from each high school gifted all LCS custodians with treats and a special message. From all Lauderdale County staff and students... “Thanks for all the 'EXTRA' that you 'DEW' to keep our schools safe and clean.”

Ripley High School Beta Club celebrated Beta Club Founder’s Day today!


For EPSO week RHS has had daily EPSO trivia questions. So far this week Kyna-J, Emma, Dekylan, and Preston have correctly answered the morning trivia question. Also, teachers have signs outside the classrooms to note which rooms offer Early Post Secondary Opportunities at RHS.

Ripley High School has been named a divisional finalist for The A.F. Bridges Awards. Local officials associations were asked to nominate schools that have displayed an overall positive effort to teach, expect, and demand a positive atmosphere of sportsmanship.

HOSA Students and advisors attended the mass casualty exercise in Memphis yesterday. These exercises are put on to test the readiness and ability of area hospitals and emergency personnel in case a large scale emergency were to occur.


RHS is very proud of these three young ladies for be awarded All District for volleyball. Pictured left-right Brooke, Mariah, and Jereka.


The RHS 2018 Volleyball team is Region Champion and Sectional Runner-Up! Congratulations to all these ladies for their hard work.


Incoming freshman to UT Martin have many UT Martin Scholarship opportunities that can all be applied for with only one application. The application is open October 15th - February 1st. See attached flyers for details.

RHS Beta Club induction was last night. The RHS Staff is proud of all these students that have put in the hard work to meet Beta requirements.


The Lauderdale Co. Career/Technical Advisory Council met this morning and talked about the importance of leadership and work ethic skills to the success of our students. Thanks to the council and community for your support of these important programs!
