HOSA Students attended the West Tennessee Fall Leadership Conference on September 26th. Students listened to speakers on various topics such as emotional intelligence, civic engagement, unconscious bias, and personal branding and networking.

RHS Student, Caleb, cut off his long hair and donated it to Locks of Love. We are proud of our students that think of others in their time of need.


Taylor, a Ripley High sophomore, attended the Military Service Academy Day Saturday. This gave her the opportunity to speak with Representative David Kustoff, Army and the Air Force ROTC, US Air Force Academy, US Coast Guard Academy, and may more Military Service Academies.

More RHS students that are college bound! College App week day 3 is in full swing. The RHS Guidance Department and teachers will be helping Seniors apply for TNPromise and colleges throughout the week.

Class of 2019: College App Week - The library is open until 6:30 tonight for anyone that needs to use our computer labs to apply to college.

It’s College App Week! Students have various dress up days, today was College Shirt day. Throughout the week Seniors will be applying for college and TNPromise with the guidance counselors.


Congratulations to our Football Team for the win Friday. The final score was 42-7 over Fayette-Ware. Go Tigers!!



The students in Ms Parmenter’s Chemistry class used paper chromatography to identify suspects in a “homecoming crime”. By separating ink samples, students were able to identify who left “Go Wildcats” signs around the school.


The Spanish I class of Ms Sanders plays Simon Says to master their language skills.


Lauderdale County Health Department and Lauderdale County School System have partnered to provide seasonal influenza (flu) vaccinations at your child’s school. If your child is uninsured, there is no cost to you for the flu vaccine. If your child is covered by insurance including TennCare and private insurance, the Health Department will file a claim with the insurance plan and receive reimbursement directly from the insurance plan. There is no out of pocket cost to you for the flu vaccines provided during this school flu vaccination clinic. Your child will be bringing home a consent form beginning of this week, if you want your child to receive the flu vaccine please complete both sides. Be sure to sign the form, this will be your consent for the student to receive the vaccination. If you have any questions you can contact Michelle Brazier, Director of Coordinated School Health at 731-221-0959.
