RMS will be collecting Chromebooks and accessories from in-person and remote students for Winter Break storage. During this time, RMS faculty and staff will check all devices for possible maintenance issues. Those who checked out MiFi hotspots from RMS will need to return these devices as well. In-person students will leave their devices at school on December 14th or 15th but will use them in class the remainder of the week. Remote students will need to make sure that all assignments have been submitted before the December 16th drop-off.

The 2020-2021 grade level and school-wide spelling bees will be conducted online this year. If your child is interested in participating in the spelling bee, he/she will need to register and test no later than Friday, December 11th at 1:00 PM. Please go to https://online-test.spellingbee.com to create a parent account. Once we receive notification that you have registered your student, we can assign them an online test. This is the ONLY way students will be able to participate, so don’t delay.
For questions, please contact Ms. Pipkin- tpipkin@k12.lced.net.

Enrollment changes for the 3rd 9 weeks for remote learning will occur December 7-11. Parents will need to contact their child's school if they wish to move from remote learning back to in-person learning or move from in-person learning to remote learning. If there will be no change in your child’s placement, you do not need to contact the school. However, if you are making the decision to change your child’s placement, you must contact the school next week, December 7-11, to inform them of your decision to change. Stay safe! --LC Schools
